Are robots becoming humans? Or Are humans becoming robots?

Source: Google.

The danger of the past was that men became slaves. The danger of the future is that men may become robots “ — Erich Fromm.

Except that, isn’t the future already here?

We know the 21st century is the age of science and technology and the 2nd decade of this century being marked as the age of robots. But never have I ever thought the progress is so fast that humans started showing the symptoms of being robots so early.

Are robots becoming humans? Or Are humans becoming robots?

Think back.

Beginning your day with charging your appliances, feeding on WiFi and cellular data, placing a poker face throughout the business meetings, exercising your fingers on the keyboard, shuttling through the Uber’s is all the contended travel you wish for and going back to the bed with tons of issues to be sorted out, stuffed in your minds.

Dexterity with the apps is what’s keeping you alive.
More agile you become in shuffling with devices, the more proficient you become.
In the end, losing yourself in the clutches of networks.

Slipping slowing into the clan of robots, doing nothing but the tasks that were asked to be done, throughout your day, year, and your life; Forgetting who you are.

Sit back and think. What made you different from others? What is that the inner you wants and expects from you?Ask it.Nurture it. Pamper it; Before your heart turn into a fully efficient high-speed microprocessor. It’s high time

Now, why don’t you let these vignettes help?

  • What does a mirror say back to you?
  • If no rules, laws, financial obligations applied to you, what would you do?
  • A moment that forever changed you.
  • What does individuality mean to you?
  • What is your life philosophy?
  • What is important in your universe?
  • The hardest you’ve ever laughed.
  • What television show would you choose to be trapped in?
  • Something you are maniacal about.
  • What would you erase from the past? How would this change you?
  • The idea of frustration
  • Spots places that are special to you.
  • Saddest event of your life.
  • The day you realized you were growing up (loss of innocence)
  • The world tomorrow.
  • Love or the idea of love.
  • Hardest you’ve ever cried?
  • Worst lie you’ve ever told

Give yourself a break, let loose, stir your brain for these answers and write them down.
